Poached Pears with Yoghurt

Ingredients
2 firm pears, peeled, halved and cored
1½ cups water
2 tbsp honey (plus extra to drizzle)
1 cinnamon stick
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup Bekaa Dairy Natural Yoghurt
¼ cup chopped walnuts or pecans
Pinch of ground cinnamon or nutmeg
Method
Poach the Pears:
In a small saucepan, combine water, honey, cinnamon stick, and vanilla. Bring to a simmer. Add pear halves and poach for 20–25 minutes or until tender. Let them cool in the syrup.Serve:
Spoon Bekaa Dairy Natural Yoghurt onto a plate or bowl. Top with warm or cooled poached pears. Drizzle with extra honey, sprinkle with chopped walnuts and a dusting of cinnamon or nutmeg.Optional Add-Ons:
Add a spoon of granola or a crumble of oat biscuit for extra crunch.
